The monster GT capital of the World has produced an incredible amount of 40-75kg fish. Southern Oman’s fishery doesn’t offer high numbers of GT (when scrolling through the photos above you might think otherwise!), but for those that put in the effort most will get their shot at raising a prehistoric monster.
Be warned, if you get the eat Hell is unleashed! Chances are you are onto the biggest GT you have ever seen and how it plays out combines luck, skill and rigging.
Fact is more monsters are lost than landed which is why we strongly recommend only fishing the heaviest Topwater gear around and ensure all fish with barbless hooks.
