Shuwaymiah is a small isolated fishing village offering very little modern commodities to its visitors. The nearest supermarket is 400km away in Salalah! However that has not stopped us modifying some basic accommodation and turning them into comfortable, welcoming and homely bespoke fishing lodges.
Each group stay in their own private double bedroom air conditioned lodge, western style bathroom and large living room with ample rigging space and rod storage for the week.
International anglers typically arrive as groups of 3 or the maximum 4 and are hosted for 7 nights in a double bedroom private lodge with all meals, snacks and drinks provided. Guests fish 6 full days with one of our experienced & professional guides. We provide all transport with our own fleet of SUVs offering comfort during the 400km drive from Salalah to the village where we are based, Shuwaymiah.
We also organize various group share weeks throughout the season for single traveling anglers looking to join others for an unforgettable week.
For GCC anglers looking for a short get away our long weekend options work well for groups arriving after work on Thursday and returning to work Monday.
A typical day with us would consist of an early morning wake up call, hearty breakfast and on the water at first light. Having discussed your target species with your captain/guide over dinner the evening before they will tailor the days fishing ahead.
Lunch is always taken on board and boats return to harbor around 4.30pm, to return to the lodges for a snack of our now famous Samosa’s, a home cooked dinner, re-rigging and tall fishing stories.
